Privacy Policy

Toolmaker Studio ("the studio", "we") is an independent digital-products studio. This policy covers toolmakerstudio.com and purchases of studio products. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to sell you things and email you when you ask, we don't run trackers, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Purchases through our site. Checkout is handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, and order details so we can deliver your purchase and support it. We never see or store your card number - that stays with Stripe, whose own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
- The Drop List (newsletter). If you subscribe, we collect your email address. Kit (formerly ConvertKit) stores it and sends the emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes you from future sends.
- Audit bookings and inquiries. Our booking and contact forms (run through Formspree) collect your name, work email, business details, and whatever you tell us about your workflows. We use it only to schedule and deliver the service you asked about.
- Sales on Gumroad, Etsy, or PromptBase. Those marketplaces process your order under their own privacy policies and share with us only what we need to fulfill it (typically name and email). Their policies govern their side of the transaction.
- Support email. If you write to us, we keep the thread so we can actually help you.
Cookies and analytics
The site runs no analytics package, no advertising pixels, and no cross-site trackers. We don't fingerprint visitors and we don't care who you are until you tell us. The only third-party scripts on the site are the checkout (Stripe), the newsletter form (Kit), and the booking form (Formspree); each may set the functional cookies it needs to operate. That's the whole list.
How we use information
- To deliver what you bought and support it.
- To send the emails you subscribed to - one per product drop, never more.
- To schedule and deliver booked services.
- To meet legal and tax obligations (records of sales).
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with the processors named above, only as needed to run the store.
Data retention and deletion
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Form submissions are kept while your inquiry or engagement is active. Email betterwebpro@gmail.com any time to access, correct, or delete what we hold about you, and we'll do it except where the law requires keeping sales records.
Security
Payment data never touches our servers. Account access to our store, email, and payment providers is protected and limited to the systems that run the studio. No method is perfect, but our exposure is small by design: we collect little and keep less.
Children
Our products are business tools and are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version posts to this page with a new effective date. Material changes get called out in the newsletter before they take effect.
